Create branded CV exports
Branded CV exports turn a candidate's CV into a clean, on-brand document you can send to clients, without reformatting anything by hand. You can export as a PDF or a Word (DOCX) file, and even produce a blind CV that hides the candidate's identity.
Export a branded CV
- Open the candidate's profile and go to their CV / Resume section.
- In the Formatted Export card, pick a Template. Leave it on Agency default to use your agency's own template, or choose one of the built-in styles (Classic, Modern, Executive, Consultant).
- Choose how much branding to apply: Header, Both, or None.
- If you need it, use Output Options to turn on Remove contact details or Blind CV (which also hides the name and photo).
- Click PDF or DOCX to download the finished file.
If you just want the file the candidate uploaded, unchanged, use Download Original instead. The branding and blind-CV options only apply to formatted exports.
Set up your agency template and logo (admins)
Two admin-only settings control how branded exports look:
- Settings → CV Branding — upload your Branding Logo, set Footer Text, and choose where branding appears (None, Header & Footer, Watermark, or Both). This logo is also used on report PDFs.
- Settings → CV Format — pick a preset style and accent colour, set the section order, or upload your agency's own Word template so exports match it exactly.
When you upload a custom Word template, Crumblelead learns its layout in the background. Until it is ready, exports use the built-in presets.
Roles and limits
- Anyone who can view a candidate can export their CV.
- Setting up branding and the agency template is admin only.
- Your custom Word template is used when the template is left on Agency default. Choosing a specific built-in style instead uses that style rather than your uploaded template.
- CV format changes are not available in demo workspaces.
FAQs
Can I export to Word as well as PDF?
Yes. Both PDF and DOCX are supported from the Formatted Export card.
How do I send a CV without the candidate's details?
Turn on Blind CV to hide the name and photo, or Remove contact details to keep the name but strip contact info.
Why doesn't my export use our uploaded template?
Keep the Template set to Agency default. Picking a built-in style uses that style instead. Also check that your custom template has finished processing in Settings → CV Format.
